Ranking High At The 2019 Oregon Coast Invitational
Few amateur golf tournaments have the history and the reputation that the Oregon Coast Invitational Match Play Championship has. The second longest running amateur tournament in Oregon behind the Oregon Amateur Championship, the “Coast” as it’s best known has been taking place each summer since August of 1910.
Hosted by the Astoria Golf and Country Club, the Coast never fails to draw a massive turnout. Avid golfers scramble to register each year, as the tournament fills up quickly and the waiting list is long. Those who are able to secure entry can look forward to one of the most fun amateur golf tournaments any golf enthusiast could ever hope to take part in.
Our own Walter Yeaw teed off at this year’s tournament, taking part in the Senior Championship and earning the ranking of Seniors 2nd Flight Winner!
